Our company began in 1888 as Lorry Ulsas Tuckpointing then in 1962 the third generation and present owner Robert Austin changed the name to Certified Waterproofing & Tuckpointing. Specializing in basement waterproofing, foundation work and tuckpointing.
Certified is the expert in older St. Louis and historical homes. We now offer full-service basement waterproofing which includes drain tile systems and sump pumps, interior and exterior foundation repair and sealing, tuckpointing, brick laying, exterior water and drainage solutions and much more.

Certified removed the brick chimney from our home which had deteriorated and moved due to many years of neglect by the previous owner and was beginning to fall. They rebuilt and tuckpointed the chimney solid and we have never had a problem with water entering the chimney again.
Certified performed a flood clean up, discarding ruined carpeting and drywall then installed a basement drain tile system and sump pump at my home back in 2015. My basement was dry as a bone through the recent flooding in the St. Louis area.
